About me
I am a passionate photographer and Secretary of the Dudley Camera Club, with a strong dedication to developing my craft and exploring the artistic side of photography. As a member of Smethwick Photographic Society, I continue to refine my skills while engaging with a vibrant photographic community.
My photographic journey began around 2013 when I purchased my first DSLR camera, a Canon EOS 1100D (Rebel T3). Although considered an entry-level camera, it became the foundation of my development as a photographer and helped me achieve my BPAGB accreditation in 2023. Since then, I have upgraded to the Canon R7 and R6mkII mirrorless system, allowing me to expand both creatively and technically.
In my early years, I learned photography using Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority modes to build a strong understanding of exposure and camera control. After completing both Location Photography and Studio Photography courses at college, I transitioned fully to shooting in Manual mode, giving me complete creative control over my work.
Photography is more than a hobby for me — it is a way of expressing how I see the world and capturing the beauty, character, and emotion in people and places. I am now looking at pursuing portrait photography professionally, with the goal of turning my passion into a career and creating meaningful images for clients while continuing to grow as an artist
